Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has called on parents of female students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to consistently remind their daughters to prioritize their safety.
He claims that numerous incidents are occurring within the school, and the administration is allegedly attempting to conceal them.
Harrison said this is not the first case that has been received from the institution.
He recollected how a girl was called from the school to pick up an item for dispatch but was later kidnapped and how a young man was also kidnapped from the school.
‘’If you have a daughter in UNN, call her and hold her ears. A lot of things are happening in that school and the school authority are not doing enough to see how they can manage it. and the ones happening, they cover it up. This girl went for lecture and never returned back.
If you have a child in that school, caution them. Talk to them!”
