President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in Dr. Abdullahi Usman Bello as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa on Wednesday, just before the start of the Federal Executive Council meeting.
The CCB’s mandate cuts across ensuring that public officials comply with the code of conduct and ethical standards.
It also ensures that public officials declare their assets as a means of promoting transparency while occupying office.
Meanwhile, the Federal Executive Council meeting has kicked off in earnest with President Tinubu presiding over it.
