Concerned stakeholders within the Bayelsa APC have accused Eniekenemi Senator Mitin of attempting to create mischief and discord within the party. On Sunday, October 13, nigpost reported that an APC ward in Bayelsa state has suspended Mitin, who serves as the party’s council chairman. These stakeholders are now urging the party’s national leadership to establish an ad-hoc disciplinary committee to investigate Mitin and his allies for allegedly stirring unrest within the party.
Executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10, Toru-Ndoro in Ekeremor local government area (LGA) of Bayelsa state, have indefinitely suspended the party’s council chairman, Eniekenemi Senator Mitin.
In a statement on Sunday, October 13, by the ward 10 chairman and secretary, Tankazi Anthony and Ederekumor Andakuroyeg, the APC asked Nigerians not to recognize or deal with Mitin as the chairman of the party in Ekeremor council area.
